Reading The News is Important. So important that it is unfortunate that you still have to be asked to pay for news in 2026. Sometimes they force you to accept cookies so you can use it. Otherwise you have to pay if you wish to decline. How scummy.
News is more important than ever. No one is expected to know nothing about what is going on anymore. While one can go and find any paywall bypass trick it’s the fact that I have to go out of my way to do that. I click the article I would like to read it.
Talking about wanting things to happen when you tell it to. We have all noticed Smart TVs are actually the most stupid things ever created. So, while my TV probably doesn’t expect me to be swapping HDMI cables around every minute. It really shouldn’t be infuriating me. I plug in the cable to the device. I wait 10-15 seconds for it to ‘scan the device’ it shows me what should be displayed. Then it goes black. Back to the menu and it proudly tells me it added HDMI 1 to the screen. As if it was never there before. Puts it all the way at the back of the list. It does this every time. Plug in the PS5 Pro. Wastes your time. Computer? Wastes your time. So much time wasting for a so called smart device. Thanks Samsung.
But the inconveniences don’t end there. Imagine owning a Lenovo device (don’t if you are weak willed). You set android up which is already an annoying process. Great all done. Then some random thing pops up asking you to download all these apps. Ok whatever disable the internet and then reconnect. The popup will just come back! Then it installs 40 programs of actual shit no one cares about. Potentially crippling everyone else’s internet connection because your Lenovo device is a selfish little fuck.
